Chancellor “Chance” Peterson is an attorney dedicated to sticking up for those who have been harmed by others. He believes the legal system, when wielded with skill and honesty, is a powerful tool to achieve justice for the little guy or gal who would otherwise be out of luck. Along with the other attorneys at Oldfather Law Firm, Chance concentrates in plaintiff’s litigation, including medical malpractice, products liability, and employment law.

Chance is a proud native of Breckinridge County, Kentucky, where he was taught many life lessons in determination and grit. Chance graduated from the University of Louisville with a BA degree in political science. In 2024, he graduated from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law with a JD and an MA in political science.

Chance joined the Oldfather Law Firm in 2021 as a law clerk working through law school. Soon after joining, he knew he wanted to be a plaintiff’s attorney. After passing the Kentucky bar exam in 2024, Chance did just that when he joined the firm as an attorney.

After several memorable years living in Louisville, he returned home to Breckinridge County, where he lives with his wife, Brittany. Chance enjoys University of Louisville athletics, baseball, gardening, cooking, backpacking, bluegrass music, and playing with his hound dog, Huck
